As I sit here by the warm fire listening to rain on the window, this image seems like the right one to share. It was made almost exactly two years ago when an autumn storm rolled in and blanketed the Sierra with a layer of snow.

A quintessential shot like this is forever remembered as unique above
all others from this location. The clouds add so much power that it
gives the image a nearly mystical dimension. I'd love to see it wall
size like the Ansel Adams scenes at the Department of Interior, Washington D.C.
